But Comey is right to not say that she lied. He is the FBI Director. For him to say she lied is to say that he has evidence that she knew, at the time she made these false statements, that they were false. He has no such evidence.
As private citizens we have the luxury of saying what we want. I try to make only very small leaps, and I think it is a very small one to say that Clinton lied here. But Comey, as the FBI Director, should not do that. He should stick to what the evidence demonstrates clearly of the case.
